David loves being a pastor at COMMUNITY. He is humbled by the opportunity to help people grow in their relationship with Jesus, so they can make a difference in people’s lives. He is grateful to be part of a gifted staff and leadership team who inspire our church family to live the vision God has given us for ministry in the community, region, and beyond. He is excited about the future of COMMUNITY, and our ministry to others.
David grew up in both Boston, MA, and Maine. After serving in the United States Marine Corps, he and his wife, Venessa, were married, and he was called into pastoral ministry. He joined the staff at COMMUNITY in August 2019. David and Venessa have two children who are married, and four grandchildren. Along with spending time with family and getting to know other people, he enjoys sports, biking, hunting, jet-skiing, body surfing in the ocean when he can get there, and cooking. Oh, and he loves BBQ, cheesecake, homemade ice cream and a good piece of pie!
